(3) Fire Eric Holder

(3) Fire Eric Holder

Fire Eric Holder

by Sarah Palin on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:14pm

It’s tempting to get distracted with the horse race aspect of electoral politics during a primary season. But as pundits talk about “who’s up and who’s down” in the 24 hour news cycle, we must keep our eye on the ball with the Obama administration. They rely on distraction to skirt responsibility, but we’re going to hold them accountable for their corruption and incompetence.
When the stories about Operation Fast and Furious first broke, it sounded too crazy even for this administration.
Why would any government official with an ounce of common sense think it’s a good idea to facilitate the smuggling of thousands of guns into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels? That’s what Operation Fast and Furious did.
You might think Eric Holder’s Department of Justice was setting up a sting operation in which our federal agents would swoop down and arrest the bad guys the minute the guns traded hands. But that’s not what happened. Eric Holder’s DOJ had American gun dealers sell weapons to “straw purchasers” tied to drug cartels without actually following the movement of the guns as they were then sold to Mexican drug lords. They apparently thought this so-called “gun-walking” operation would help them chart the path of gun smuggling, but they didn’t have a plan to actually control the weapons’ movements as the guns were allowed to “walk” into Mexico. All Holder’s DOJ did was arm violent criminals. What manner of fools do we have working in this administration? What’s next? Supplying nuclear weapons components to the Iranians so we can track their activities?
Fast and Furious isn’t just your typical government incompetence. This is a deadly tragedy. U.S. border agent Brian Terry was gunned down with weapons connected to Holder’s debacle. At least 200 Mexican citizens were also killed by criminals using Fast and Furious weapons. We can only imagine how many more people will be murdered by criminals our government armed.
When an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives blew the whistle on this operation, the DOJ leaked sensitive information about him to the press. This week, the former U.S. Attorney for Arizona, who was ousted in the wake of the scandal, admitted to being the leaker.
And where is President Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder in all of this? When did he first know about the operation? In his testimony to the House Oversight Committee on May 3, 2011, Holder stated, “I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” But the DOJ’s own documents prove that Holder had been receiving briefings on Fast and Furious for nearly a year before that date. In other words, our government’s top law enforcement official, Eric Holder, lied to the American public. He finally admitted this week to the Senate Judiciary Committee, “In my testimony before the House committee [on May 3], I did say a few weeks. I probably could have said a couple of months. What I said about a few weeks was inaccurate based on what happened.”
When the nation’s highest law enforcement official lies to the American people, he must go.
And if he claims that he didn’t lie, then how else do we explain this situation? He’s either lying or he’s so grossly incompetent and lazy that he didn’t read important life and death briefings from his deputy attorney general and didn’t know about this deadly operation run by people under him. So, which is it? Incompetent, lazy, or lying? No matter which explanation fits, he needs to go.
Holder conceded this week, “I have ultimate responsibility for what happens in the department.” He can prove it by resigning. And if he refuses to resign, then President Obama – with whom the bucks ultimately stop – can prove that he respects honesty, transparency, and accountability in his administration by firing Holder.
I stand with the members of Congress who are calling for Holder’s resignation. I stand with the family members of Brian Terry who are demanding transparency and accountability. Mr. President, where do you stand?
- Sarah Palin
P.S. It can be argued that some elements of this scandal give the appearance of perhaps being intended to be used to infringe on our Second Amendment rights. I invite our President to correct concerned Americans if they’re wrong on this.

Today is Veteran's Day 11-11-11

Taken in Madison, Wisconsin during Veteran's D...Image via WikipediaAs always, Veteran's Day is one that doesn't pass by without moments of reflection, remembrance, honor, gratitude, and tears that spill out of the pure emotion of what's inevitable in this world, WAR.  Young men sent to die for the greed and political agendas of old men in Washington.  I am not anti-war, and I support our troops over and beyond any government, any official, and despite my absence of support or respect  and disdain for our so called "Commander in Chief" and his hideously corrupt, despicable excuse for a human being, and fellow Pathological Liar and partner in crime, Eric Holder.

Tears are falling heavier and more sorrowfully this Veteran's Day than any before..  I never met him, but after months of seeing this man, "the Border Agent", shown in the same picture over and over, as the negligent media glossed over the story and took all personal attributes and human qualities of the generic agent unit this government knew would be part of the inevitable sacrifice for their scheme to have our guns show up at crime scenes to further their objective to chip away at The Second Amendment, I wanted to meet Brian A. Terry, a Marine who continued to dedicate his young vibrant exceptional life to protecting and serving this country and all American's, all of US who live here.  God Bless his heart and soul. God bless his mother and father, his entire family, girlfriend, friends and those who were lucky to know him.  Obviously, after I decided to know him, his story, and who he is as a person, his plans, his dedication and loyalty to his country, the grief deepened.  The loss became more profound, and the compassion and sadness extended way beyond the individual unit our government tried to portray as a generic dark green suit with a generic stranger inside it.

I want everyone to know Marine and Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry, who at a youthful 40 years old was stolen from us all by negligent officials who are supposed to make decisions that keep our men and women AND Brian Terry safe as they can given the dangerous positions these men and women are in for the greater good.   I want everyone to share the shocking outrage and devastating grief inflicted upon Brian's family and those who knew him, as we can only imagine what kind of atrocity they've had to and continue to endure.  The man who pretended to be in the dark about Fast and Furious, yet actually was part of its conception, in his perjured denials, refused to publicly make any kind of apology to Brian's family.  The outrage should extend beyond myself, others who share my feelings (and there are many) his family, and to the President, who should angrily and shamefully demand Eric Holder's resignation.  This is not the case, as that liar in chief was part of this scheme as well.

Well the public won't stand for it. I won't, and I have spread this story that the media is complicit in keeping on the down low to protect our top elected official(s) as far as my word can reach, beyond the blogosphere and through avenues I have seen blow up into a mass majority consensus that at the very least, Eric Holder must resign, or be forced out through impeachment. Most believe he should be indicted, tried and inevitably be prosecuted severely for his part in the fiasco that killed Brian Terry.   I agree.  No one is above the law, and Eric Holder believes he is.  He MUST be convinced he is wrong, and the only way to do this is not just by ousting him, but by making sure justice is served---PUT HOLDER TO THE FIRE, INCARCERATE THE CRIMINAL TO THE MAXIMUM DEGREE OF PUNISHMENT.   Brian Terry got life, and now his family are doing that time, and it's term is eternal.

Stand up and fight - Demand Justice for Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and His Family.  Write, call, and petition Congress and the officials who are supposed to serve The People...  This is where the outrage stops and action starts. No more tolerance for Government passivity, deception, lawlessness, and grandiose out of control acts that could be defined within the boundaries of Treason.

God Bless Our Veterans, Our Troops ~ GOD BLESS BRIAN A. TERRY, R.I.P. Young Courageous Warrior. You will forever be missed and NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Congressional Investigators To Subpoena Holder In Fast And Furious Probe | Fox News

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.)---- investigatio...Image by SS&SS via FlickrCongressional Investigators To Subpoena Holder In Fast And Furious Probe | Fox News

Holder was to be Subpoenaed today and further investigations to the extreme incriminating
evidence as to his guilt in the masterminding and the execution of the ill intended fiasco of a scheme
called Operation Fast and Furious.
Using Obama tactics, (Chicago Politics) on using and positioning crises to the 'leader's' benefit, Mr. Holder
"coincidentally" ( never more coincidences in one's lifetime than this administration's) chose today to reveal
the Iranian's plot to assassinate The American Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. This was not NEW(s). It was
an attempt that took place a few weeks ago, and if it had been a success, would have been a declaration of War
between the U.S. and Iran.

The Saudi's will do anything for the U.S. (almost, and yes, probably that too) under the Obama Administration.
It wouldn't be a shock to know this "plot" was a staged attempt to produce a big news story to keep in the back
pockets of the Criminal Cohorts for future subpoenas, indictments, investigations, and eventually PROSECUTION.

As Issa finally said to Holder "YOU OWN FAST AND FURIOUS", the wheels for Iranian ire were turning. For over a year
Darrell Issa was very meticulous and selective with his words so as not to show pre-conviction notions. When those
words come from Issa --- One can be sure there issa gonna be some a heads rolling, and they start from the top and go down
hill from there.

You can put off the inevitable, for a minute or two, but the longer you do, but you're going down Holder, and no more standing
in the way of Justice. Border Patrol Brian A. Terry will be given his due, and to that American hero the People remain true.

Congressional Investigators to Subpoena Holder in Fast and Furious Probe

Published October 11, 2011
| FoxNews.com
EXCLUSIVE: Congressional investigators probing the failed anti-gunrunning operation Fast and Furious are sending a new subpoena to Attorney General Eric Holder -- seeking communications from about a dozen top Justice Department officials, including Holder; his chief of staff, Gary Grindler; and the head of the department's criminal division, Lanny Breuer, Fox News has learned.
The subpoena, which could be filed as early as Tuesday, will focus on the Justice Department. The first and only subpoena issued so far dealt with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. That subpoena was issued back in March.

After scathing letter from Attorney General Eric Holder to the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, he responds in kind with a volley back to the Justice Department calling the response a new low.
In the new subpoena, congressional investigators will apparently demand information regarding the investigation into the death of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. Two guns found at Terry's crime scene were linked to the failed operation that allowed more than 2,000 weapons to "walk."
The subpoena is expected to ask for correspondence that Justice Department officials had with the White House about the gun trafficking operation, as well as what information was shared by Justice officials in Mexico.
Asked about the development Tuesday, Holder said his department "will undoubtedly comply with them," noting that Justice officials have already sent "thousands of pages of documents up to the Hill."
Holder addressed the matter at the end of a press conference about an alleged Iran-tied terror plot foiled by U.S. investigators. "What I want the American people to understand is that in complying with those subpoenas and dealing with that inquiry, that will not detract us from the important business that we have here to do at the Justice Department, including matters like the one that we have announced today," Holder said.
The new subpoena follows a week of back and forth between congressional investigators and Justice Department officials of "who knew what, when." Under scrutiny was Holder's testimony from May 3 when he told Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., that he "probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks."
Fox News obtained documents addressed to Holder as early as nine months before that, which described the concept of Operation Fast and Furious.
On Friday, Holder sent a letter to congressional investigators stating that he does not read every document addressed to him and that they are reviewed by members of his staff. Holder went on to say that none of the reports mentioned the controversial tactics used in Fast and Furious.
On Monday, Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is investigating the scandal, replied to Holder in a letter saying, "Operation Fast and Furious was the department's most significant gun trafficking case. Whether you realize yet or not, you own Fast and Furious. It is your responsibility.”
Issa told "Fox News Sunday" that he was going to issue the subpoena to find out why the top Justice officials are "denying knowing about something that they were briefed on?"
"We want to know what and when they knew it," he said. "But more importantly, we have to understand -- at what level of the authorization really come? It wasn't an ATF operation. They were part of that. It was a joint operation in which DEA knew more than ATF."
In addition to the congressional investigation being led by Issa and Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, R-Texas, is calling for a special counsel to look into the matter.
